Ankara - A German woman has gone on trial in Turkey charged with membership in the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party, diplomatic sources in Ankara confirmed yesterday.
The Turkish army said on Thursday that the woman had been apprehended by the armed forces on Turkish territory some months ago as a PKK fighter.
