Barry Geraghty has been awarded the Powers Gold Label Overall Racing Award for outstanding Achievement in Horseracing in 2003.
The 24 year old was the season's leading National Hunt jockey after he rode to victory in the 2003 Aintree Grand National on Monty's Pass and was the leading jockey in March's Cheltenham festival.
Also honoured in their respective categories were owner JP McManus, Kildare based trainer Dermot Weld and The Aga Khan as top breeder.
John Maloney picked up an award on behalf of Galway racecourse.
