BELGRADE - Some 50,000 young people yesterday gathered in the sun to hear the Irish rock musician, Sir Bob Geldof, and his band, the Happy Clubsters, give a free open air performance. The organisers of the Belgrade Marathon, which starts this morning, invited Geldoff as a curtain-raiser.
