Gardai at Blanchardstown in Dublin have appealed for witnesses to a fight that resulted in a man being hospitalised last weekend.

An altercation took place in Blanchardstown village between 1am and 2.30am on Saturday May 2nd, gardai said.

This row resulted in a 28-year-old man being taken to nearby Connolly Hospital by ambulance.
