A body of a man in his seventies was discovered at his home in Mellifont Avenue in Dun Laoghaire last night. Gardai are treating the death as suspicious.
The man who lived alone, had not been seen by neighbours for a number of days. It is understood that he may have suffered head injuries. He was found in his bedroom. It is believed the body may have been there for a number of days.
