Seven shotguns were discovered in a Garda search of farmland near Dundalk yesterday, only hours after a separate arms find in the Co Louth town.
A Garda spokesman said the two seizures were not connected, and added that the guns uncovered yesterday were believed to have been stolen during a burglary at Dunleer.
