Gardaí investigating allegations that a well-known sports journalist statutorily raped a teenage girl have received a statement of complaint from another teenager.
The complainant has alleged the journalist inappropriately touched her.
The woman who has made the latest complaint was in her mid-teens when the alleged incident took place.
The girl at the centre of the initial allegation is now 16. She is alleged to have been statutorily raped by the journalist, whom she knew from the age of 14.
Both complainants knew the journalist through his role as a sports coach.
The journalist is still receiving medical treatment and has not yet been interviewed by gardaí.
