Gardaí have named the driver killed in a car crash near Kells, Co. Meath last night, as local man Mr Michael Osborne (52).
Mr Osborne, died after losing control of his car at Shancarnan, Mullagh shortly before 9 p.m last night. No other vehicle was involved.
In Co Fermanagh, a man (24) as died following a crash. The victim, who was a back seat passenger in a Vauxhall Astra car, died at Rosscore near Belleek at around 9 p.m. last night.
