Gardaí today named a number of victims who died in recent road crashes around the State.

Michael Mulryan (80) of Willow Park Road, Glasnevin, Dublin, died after a car collision in Co Kerry on October 15th. His car collided with a lorry at Garranearagh, Caherciveen.

Claire Hennessy (24) of Castlemews, Kilminchy, Co. Laois, died on Saturday, October 18th.

The car in which she was a passenger crashed in Co Laois in the early hours of Saturday morning. It collided with the side of a building shortly before 3am, at Rossleaghan, Portlaoise.

Elsewhere, the man (19) who died on October 19th at Dunmanway, Co Cork, was named as Francis O' Driscoll of Prospect Grove, Dunmanway. The car he was driving lost control slightly before 1am in the morning.
