Gardaí name Dublin stab victim

Gardaí have today named the murder victim whose body was found with stab wounds near Palmerstown in west Dublin last week.

Gardaí have today named the murder victim whose body was found with stab wounds near Palmerstown in west Dublin last week.

He is David Whyte (35) of New Cabra Road, Dublin, .

Mr Whyte, who was employed as a security guard, was found on Mill Lane on Friday afternoon.

The identification of his body came just hours after Supt John Quirke of Ballyfermot Garda station had appealed for the public's help.
