Gardaí name Dublin crash victim

The man who died after being hit by a bus  on Dublin’s Ormond Quay yesterday has been named by gardaí.

The man who died after being hit by a bus  on Dublin’s Ormond Quay yesterday has been named by gardaí.

John Halloran (63) of Heskin Court, Elm Park, Dublin 4, was knocked down as he crossed the road near the Millennium Bridge at 3.30pm yesterday.

He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
