Gardai have named two young men who were killed in separate road traffic accidents at the weekend.

In Kerry, Mr Daniel Walsh (16) from Kilmurry, Castleisland, died in a single-vehicle accident at about 4 a.m. on Sunday. The jeep in which he was a passenger crashed into a ditch, seriously injuring two other passengers.

On Sunday night Mr Tim Murphy (18), from Kealkil, Bantry, Co Cork, was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car at Bantry.
