Gardaí in Blanchardstown, Co Dublin, have today made a seizure of 17 kilos of cocaine.
The drugs, with an approximate value of €1.2 million, were found at about 11am yesterday in a holdall bag in the rear of a 40ft container in west Dublin. It is believed the container had only recently arrived into Ireland.
Gardaí have made no arrests at this stage, but investigations and forensic examinations are ongoing.
