Gardaí from Ballyfermot have seized 1kg of heroin with an estimated street value of €190,000 following a search of an area at Labre Park, Ballyfermot, today.
The planned search also uncovered four firearms and assorted ammunition and a silencer.
A 36 year old man was arrested and is being detained for questioning at Ballyfermot Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
