A man (28) was shot and injured in a pub near Duleek, Co Meath, last night.
A number of shots were fired at around 10.55pm. The gunman then made his getaway in an SUV-type car that was driven by an accomplice. A loaded gun was recovered from the scene.
The injured man was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. The scene is being technically examined this morning.
