Gardaí are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a house in Dundalk this afternoon.
According to a Garda statement, the 43-year-old woman's body, which was found in a house in Demesne Road shortly after 12pm, showed signs of injuries.
The area around the house has been sealed off pending a full technical examination.
The State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy has been informed and is due at the scene.
