Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Ballymun this morning.
The incident happened at 6.25am when two shots were fired through a bedroom window of a house at Silloge Road.
Two children aged 11 and 12 were asleep in the room at the time. Nobody was injured in the incident.
Two men were seen running from the scene immediately after the incident.
Gardaí have sealed off the scene for a technical examination and investigations are continuing.
