Gardai are investigating an armed raid on a post office in Co Kilkenny this morning.
A man, believed to be armed, entered Callan post office at approximately 11.30am and threatened staff. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.
No shots were fired during the incident and no-one was injured.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
