A man, believed to be in his 30s, is recovering in hospital following a stabbing in Longford earlier this morning.
The victim was found on the Main Street in Longford at 12.20am and transferred to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Another man (27) was questioned about the incident a short time later. No arrests have been made in connection with the assault, but gardaí have appealed for witnesses.
