Gardaí in Limerick are investigating an incident in the city tonight in which a number of shots were fired.
It is understood the attack happened at around 8pm when a man fired up to six shots at the side ot a house in Lenihan Avenue on the southside of the city.
It is believed a pump-action shotgun was used in the attack.
