Gardaí are investigating the cause of a fire that killed one person in in Ronanstown in west Dublin last night.
The victim's body was recovered by the Dublin Fire Brigade in the house in Wheatfield Court shortly before midnight.
Gardaí are still trying to establish whether the body is that of a man or a woman.
They are to conduct a full forensic examination of the scene to try to establish the cause of the fire and a post-mortem is to be held.
