Gardaí in Dublin are investigating an explosion at a house in Finglas last night.
A Garda spokeswoman said a device was thrown at the house on Lanesborough Park at around 10.10pm.
The device is being examined by the Garda technical bureau.
Nobody was inside the house at the time and no one was injured. Minor damage and scorch marks were caused to the house.
