Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a 20-year-old man was stabbed several times in Dublin's Coolock in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí received a call regarding a disturbance at Snowdrop Walk, Darndale shortly after midnight. When officers arrived at the scene they found a man in a house with a number of stab wounds.
He was removed to Beaumont Hospital where his condition is described as stable. A 24-year-old man was later arrested nearby and is now detained at Coolock Garda Station under Section 4, Criminal Justice Act.
