Gardai are investigating the discovery of a man's body in a hotel in Ballina, Co Mayo.
The body of the man, who was in his 70s, was found in a chalet at the back of a hotel at about 11am this morning, a Garda spokesman said.
It is understood the man was formerly an employee at the hotel.
A postmortem will take place tomorrow.
