A woman in her 50s died after she was struck by a farm vehicle in Co Cavan yesterday.
The woman was knocked down on a road near the village of Kilcogy at about noon.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body was removed to Cavan General Hospital for a postmortem.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
