Gardaí in Kerry have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body near Tralee this morning.
The body of the woman, who is understood to be in her thirties, was found at Kearney's Bridge in Ballyard just before 11 a.m.
The area remains sealed off and the Garda Technical Bureau are on their way to the scene. The Assistant State Pathologist, Dr Margaret Bolster will carry out a post mortem later today.
