Gardai in Wexford investigate woman's death

Gardaí in Co Wexford are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered at her home this morning.

Gardaí in Co Wexford are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered at her home this morning.

The body of the woman, who is in her 40s, was found by a friend at 8.30 a.m. this morning.  Her remains are being removed to the Dublin City Morgue, where the State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy will carry out a post mortem at 7 p.m.

A Garda statement said the scene is being preserved pending a technical examination.
