Gardaí in west Dublin are seeking information about a teenage girl missing from care for over a fortnight.

Kathleen Cash (15) has been missing from her accommodation, a care unit in Julianstown, Co Meath, since Saturday, April 2nd.

She was last seen in the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre and is described as 150cm (4ft 9in) tall with brown, shoulder length hair.

She is of slim build and has a Dublin accent, say gardaí. When last seen she was wearing a black tracksuit and white Nike runners.

Gardaí say the girl has gone missing a number of times before, the last time being in February. A spokeswoman for the Health Service Executive said it was policy not to comment on individual cases. Anyone with information about the girl is asked to contact gardaí in Ronanstown on (01) 666 7700.
