Gardaí in Meath have appealed for witnesses to a crash near Kells in which a man in 70s died yesterday.
Patrick Taggart of Curragh Woods, Carlanstown, Co Meath died in the crash which happened at 3.15 pm on the Kells to Cavan Road.
The woman driver of the other car involved was injured and brought to Our Lady's Hospital, Navan for treatment. Her injuries are not life threatening.
Both drivers were travelling alone.
