Gardai in Limerick seize cocaine worth €700,000

An estimated €700,000 worth of cocaine was seized today by gardaí at a house in Limerick.

An estimated €700,000 worth of cocaine was seized today by gardaí at a house in Limerick.

Three men were arrested.

A Garda spokesman said during the search of a house at the Castletroy View housing estate in Limerick city a quantity of cocaine was recovered which, depending on forensic analysis, may have a street value of up to €700,000.

Two men in their 20s and one in his 40s were arrested at the scene and are being held at Henry Street Garda Station under the provisions of Section II of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.
