Gardaí in Limerick seized two handguns and a quantity of ammunition and drugs following a search on waste ground in the city this morning.
A Garda statement said the cache was found following the search at Clarina Avenue, Weston just before midday.
No arrests have been made in connection with the find, a Garda statement said.
