Three men were questioned by Waterford gardai yesterday following the discovery of an IRA bomb-making operation and later released.

The men were arrested during house searches in Waterford. Gardai seized 100 lengths of Semtex-filled plastic tubing and detonation materials near Portlaw, Co Waterford, on Tuesday. No seizures were made after yesterday's searches.
