Gardai find body of woman in Co Donegal

A body has been discovered by gardai searching for a missing Donegal mother of four.

A body has been discovered by gardai searching for a missing Donegal mother of four.

The body was found in a field in the isolated townland of Ballybuglin near Ballintra, six miles from Donegal Town.

A major search of the area was launched today for  36-year-oldMs Dolores McCrea, who had been reported missing on Tuesday evening. It is understood she had been travelling to Donegal town for a darts tournament.

An Aer Corps helicopter from Sligo was helping gardai with their search today. A house, shed and field at Ballybuglin were sealed off this afternoon for forensic examination.
