Thirteen people were arrested after a disturbance at a house in Co Donegal in the early hours of yesterday.
Up to 20 gardaí, some in protective clothing, rushed to the disturbance at the Thornberry estate in Letterkenny at about 5.30am. Scuffles were taking place and furniture was being thrown outside. Four of the 13 arrested were women.
A Garda source said the incident looked like a dispute after a party, but it was being taken very seriously.
