Eleven people were arrested this morning after gardaí raided houses in Galway.
The 10 men and one woman were taken into custody during the five-hour operation that started at 5am to crack down on drug dealing in the city.
Small quantities of heroin, cocaine and ecstasy were seized. The suspects are being held in various Garda stations in Galway city and county.
