Garda stabbed with syringe

A garda was stabbed with a syringe after she attempted to search a woman in the Sallynoggin area of Dublin yesterday. The garda was patrolling the area at around 8 p.m. when she stopped a man and a woman for questioning. When the garda attempted to search the woman, she was attacked. The woman and the man with her then escaped. No arrests have yet been made.
