A garda was injured last night when a patrol car crashed in Tallaght in west Dublin.
The injured man was a passenger in a car that crashed into a traffic island at the entrance to the Bawnlee Estate, Fortunestown Road, at 7.40pm. There were no other cars involved.
The garda was treated at Tallaght hospital for a suspected broken foot.
