A garda was injured early this morning after responding to a call concerning a disturbance in Dundalk, Co Louth.
The garda received a wound to the left side of his face at Glenmore Park, Muirhevnamore, at 1.45 a.m.He was brought to Louth County Hospital and received several stitches before being discharged.Gardai in Dundalk are investigating the incident.
