Garda dissidents rejoin GRA

The leaders of the dissident Garda representatives have agreed to rejoin the main Garda Representative Association to take part in the pay negotiations reopened by Government earlier this month. Two members of the Garda Federation are rejoining the GRA this week to be part of the association's negotiating team which is seeking a pay increase in line with the 17 per cent paid to nurses earlier this year. Representatives from four rural Garda divisions who did not join the Garda Federation have also returned.
