A garda died today following a shooting in a Co Wexford station.
According to gardaí, the shooting occurred in Enniscorthy Garda station this afternoon.
A spokeswoman said no one else is being sought in connection with the incident, which is being treated as personal tragedy.
The Garda and the Garda Ombudsman Commission have opened separate investigations.
