Gardai last night issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of two teenage girls who have been missing from their homes in Dublin for the past three weeks.

Martha Nolan (13) and her friend, Christine McAnespie (15), both from Ballymun, went missing on August 12th. It is believed that the two girls may shave travelled to Birmingham together.

Martha Nolan is 4ft 10in tall, of slight build, with long, dark brown hair, a and is deplexion and prominent top teeth. Christine McAnespie is 5ft 5in tall, of medium build, with long, mousy coloured hair and blue eyes. Anyone who may be able to help the Gardai trace the girls is asked to contact Ballymun garda station, tel: 8420222.
