Gardai in Galway have appealed for information, following the rape of a 17 year old girl, who was visiting the city, on the grounds of University College Galway early yesterday morning. The attack occurred in the Newcastle area between 1 am and 1.40 am, according to a Garda spokesman at Mill Street station.
The attacker is described as in his 20s with black hair and a stocky build. He was about 5 feet 6 inches in height and wore a light, fawn coloured leather jacket.
