BOGOTA - Nobel Prize winning novelist Gabriel Garcia Marquez said yesterday that an amnesty for corrupt politicians may be the only solution to Colombia's deepening political crisis. In an interview in Bogota's El Tiempo newspaper, he said the scandal that could topple the President, Mr Ernesto Samper, was just one of many cases in a country corroded by cocaine wealth.
