A key Indian leftist leader said prime minister-elect Ms Sonia Gandhi and her new government would be sworn in on Wednesday.
Communist Party of India chief Mr AB Bardhan, whose party has pledged to support Ms Gandhi's government, was speaking after Ms Gandhi was invited to meet the country's president tomorrow to discuss forming the next administration following her shock election win last week.
