Concern has grown among Galway Arts Festival staff that the city will not be able to host a 20,000-capacity rock concert this summer.
As negotiations with Galway Corporation continued into their second week, local authority officials were adamant that planning permission was required for the concert in the Castlegar Sports Complex.
