Members of Galway Corporation have agreed to pedestrianise the main thoroughfare in the city centre next year. Under the plan, traffic will not be allowed from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on William Street, Shop Street, High Street and Quay Street. The plan is scheduled to get under way next March.
