A cannabis grow-house was discovered by gardaí in Co Galway today with €640,000 of the drug seized at the scene.
More than 800 plants and growing equipment were found on the property at Clovewood, Derrylissane, Menlough .
One man was arrested at the scene by gardai and is being held at Galway Garda station. The planned search took place at about 2pm and involved local gardai and members of the divisional drugs unit.
