The Gaelic Players Association (GPA) has signed its second sponsorship deal in two months, having today agreed a €100,000 deal with brokers Simply Mortgages.

The broker has confirmed that it will offer a variety of products and incentives to members of the GPA while also paying a commission to the Association for each policy entered into under the scheme. The incentives will also extend to the families of members of the GPA.

Members will get discounts of approximately five per cent on insurance packages, while those who agree a mortgage with the broker will benefit from a cash payment of up to €500 and a discount interest rate.

The GPA agreed a deal with drinks company Cantrell and Cochrane in July that saw it benefit to the tune of €500,000.

This latest deal will also see Simply Mortgagessponsoring the GPA hurling and football goals of the year awards. It has not yet been made clear as to how the invested sum will be divided within the GPA.
