The French parliament reopened today after it was evacuated in a bomb scare, a Reuters journalist at the scene said.

The parliament was evacuated shortly before 4pm and combed by bomb experts and sniffer dogs, but no explosives were found.

The parliamentary session, which was discussing the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen later this month, had earlier today been interrupted by a protest by around 10 Greenpeace activists.

No link was made between the protest and the bomb scare.
