PARIS - French media magnate, Robert Hersant, head of the biggest press group in France, died yesterday after a long illness, colleagues said. He was aged 76.
Hersant's group controlled titles including the conservative Le Figaro and France Soir. Mr Hersant died at his home in the Paris suburb of Saint Cloud.
